In addition to the provision of

£900,000 as a loan in aid to expenses

of administration which was included

in the original Colonial Office

estimate for the current year, it is

proposed to include a further £3,000,00

in the supplementary estimate to be

presented in July. This does not, of

course, imply approval of all the items

all set out in your telegram or that such

items as are approved will be charged

to revenue rather than to loan funds.
